Mom Is Making Modem Bread

With her list of open sources,
Mom is making modem bread.
The counter’s covered in data dust.
Her apron’s heavy, lined with lead.
The bottom crust is green from DOS
sprinkled on the loading tray.
The program calls for a binary blend,
but Mom adds flaxseed anyway.
The CPU ruses one hundred percent,
the kitchen routered with the scent.
Mom serves the bites she sliced as files;
we process the feed through firmament.
