Patrick Buckohr

Patrick G. Buckohr studied graphic design at the University of Akron and worked in printing and publishing in and around Canton, Ohio for 15 years before leaving that career to follow his dream of making art full time. For another 10 years he balanced freelance work in graphic design and illustration with public murals and other fine art pursuits, until a commission stirred within him a passion for sculpture. Buckohr has spent the last 20 years throwing himself at the medium of forged and welded iron at his studio in downtown Canton. He has 65 pieces of public art in Northeast Ohio including murals and iron work.
