Gibby Kain
Gibby attended the Columbus College Of Art and Design, and graduated with a Bachelors Of Fine Arts. She graduated from her tattoo apprenticeship in 2022, and has been tattooing full-time ever since. When she is not tattooing, she is enjoying movie nights with her husband, who is also an artist! She enjoys all things horror, and her work reflects this. She enjoys working with graphite pencils on paper, and tattooing color realism. Gibby’s drawings and tattoos share similar elements of horror, with the primary focus being texture.
Artist Statement:
I create art that focuses on texture, with elements of horror. I love building layers using contrast, and subject matter that often invokes a sense of dread. My “ghouls” are always front and center. It’s important to me that my work, both in my tattoos as well as my drawings, create a world filled with details that keep the viewer looking.
