Pigeon Bone

Once, when Herman found a pigeon bone,
he threw it in sewage like is was poison prone.
Once, when Sherman found a pigeon bone,
he pondered how the pigeon wing had flown.
Once, when vermin found a pigeon bone,
they fed upon it.  Now they are full-grown.
